Deborah, a very good friend of mine and talented tattoo artist, just paid me the huge compliment of tattooing my art onto her arm. Eeeep! I don't have any tattoos. Mostly because I could never decide on an image that I want on my skin permanently. As in forever! It was a huge surprise for me to see this via text message.

Below is a detail from my painting used for the tattoo. This piece is called "In the Gloaming". At the time that I painted this I had just discovered these brushes that look almost like a fork. They have awesome separation so they make a multi-mark. This was how I achieved the grass effect and the swirly atmosphere of the background.
